Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division recommends the sale of fire-damaged County- owned real property located at 3309 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO, which has become excess to its needs; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing solicited formal written bids under Invitation to Bid No. 33-09 for the sale of this property; and,
WHEREAS, eighty-eight (88) notifications were distributed, and two (2) responses were received as follows:
BIDDER BID
GNM/Roger Porter, Jr. $9,300.00
Kansas City (Jackson), MO
Greenleaf Construction $30,000.00
Kansas City (Jackson), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said surplus property be declared unusable and sold to Greenleaf Construction of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 33-09; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the surplus real property located at 3309 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO, be and hereby is declared unusable, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by sale to Greenleaf Construction pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to the accomplishment of the sale.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
