AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 5 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3174, August 27, 2001

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:  A 5 ± acre tract of land generally located ½ mile east of Buckner-Tarsney Road on the south side of Murphy School Road and more specifically described:

 

A Tract of land in Jackson County, Missouri situated in the NE of Section 11, Township 49, Range 30 being more particularly described as: Beginning at the Northwest Corner of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 11; thence N89°34'34"E along the North line of said Northeast 1/4, a distance of 736.89 feet; thence S00°25'26"E, 29.16 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, being a point on the South  Right of Way of Murphy School Road; thence N87°35'06"E along the South Right of Way of said Murphy School Road, a distance of 461.21 feet; thence S00°25'26"E, 207.52 feet; thence S89°34'34"W, 209.62 feet; thence S00°25'26"E, 187.44 feet; thence S88°22'32"E, 179.73 feet; thence S00°38'29"W, 274.94 feet; thence N88°22'32"W, 308.15 feet; thence N10°42'45"W, 659.85 feet Returning to the point of  Beginning.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Thomas Rebholz (RZ-2001-245), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 16, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
