Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney and the Circuit Court Administrator recommend entering into a new Child Support Enforcement Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Division of Child Support Enforcement for the state fiscal year period of July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, this Agreement is required for the County to continue to receive federal funding for its child support enforcement program; and,
WHEREAS, this Agreement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached Child Support Enforcement Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Division of Child Support Enforcement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
