AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 3 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3110, December 4, 2000

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

A 3 ± acre tract of land generally located ½ mile west of Owens School Road on the north side of Flynn Road and specifically described in Attachment to RLA.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

A tract of land located in the East half of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 49 North of the Baseline, Range 30 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, all in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:  Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northwest quarter of Section 7 R T49N  R30W; thence North 86 degrees 25' 45" West, along the South line of said quarter Section, a distance of 293.82 feet; thence North 06 degrees 38' 27" East a distance of 484.48 feet thence South 86 degrees 25' 45" East, parallel with the South line of said quarter Section, a distance of 246.42 feet to the East line of said quarter section; thence South 01 degrees 01' 55" West, along said East line a distance of 484.26 feet to the Point of Beginning; containing 3.00 acres, more or less, subject to all easements, restrictions, or covenants, recorded or unrecorded, if any, aka 26708 E. Flynn Road. 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Bill Norris (RZ-2000-215), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on November 16, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
