IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an Agreement with Hope House, Inc., in the amount of $36,158.00 on the recommendation of the Jackson County Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fiscal Commission. Intro RESOLUTION #11092, January 2, 1996 INTRODUCED BY Lisa White Hardwick, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Jackson County Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fiscal Commission was empowered by Ordinance #1771, #1795 and #1941 to make recommendations to the Legislature for the expenditure of Anti- Drug Sales Tax Funds for the purposes of treatment and rehabilitation of drug offenders; and, WHEREAS, the Fiscal Commission reviewed treatment proposals during 1995; and, WHEREAS, the Fiscal Commission has reviewed a proposal from Hope House, Inc., to provide outpatient treatment for battered women and their children; and, WHEREAS, Hope House, Inc., has received funding in prior years for this program upon the recommendation of the Fiscal Commission; and, WHEREAS, the Fiscal Commission has carefully reviewed this 1996 proposal from Hope House, Inc; and, WHEREAS, the Fiscal Commission has recommended funding in the amount of $36,158.00 from COMBAT Funds for the proposal; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Agreement, a copy of which is incorporated herein by reference, with Hope House, Inc; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
