Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court's Night Light program provides evening and late night supervision to juvenile offenders who are determined to be at high risk of re-offending; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney recommends the transfer of anti-drug sales tax grant match funds in the amount of $72,570.94 to support the Night Light program, with $70,157.94 to be used for Kansas City Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff's Office overtime expenses and $2,413.00 to be used for incidental program support; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has also recommended said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
