BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
The 10 ± acres are located approximately ¼ ± mile south of Round Prairie Road on the east side of Corn Cemetery Road and specifically described as all that part of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 20, Township 48, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Section 20; thence N 88̊05'44" W, along the north line of said northeast quarter of Section 20, 1319.96 feet, to the northwest corner of said northeast quarter of the northeast quarter; thence S 01̊55'15" W, along the west line of said northeast quarter of the northeast quarter, 764.24 feet (764.95' deed), to the true point of beginning; thence S 88̊06'42" E, parallel with the south line of said northeast quarter of the northeast quarter, 803.06 feet (803.48' deed), to a point on the west line of "Oak Grove Heights", a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence S 01̊54'48" W, along said west line, 541.74 feet (542.45' deed), to a point on the south line of said northeast quarter of the northeast quarter; thence N 88̊06'42" W, along said south line, 803.13 feet (803.55' deed), to the southwest corner of said northeast quarter of the northeast quarter; thence N 01̊55'15" W, along the west line of said northeast quarter of the northeast quarter, 541.74 feet (542.45' deed), to the true point of beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Betty S. (Berry) Smith (RZ-2006-410), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on September 21, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
