Body
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, MO, is planning to relocate and replace the Little Blue Road bridge; and,
WHEREAS, in order for the City to successfully complete this project, the City seeks to acquire two (2) tracts of land within the Little Blue Trace Park described in attachments hereto as Tracts 2A and 2B; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with restrictions from the National Park Service, the City has offered to convey to the County replacement property of at least equal value for use as park land, described in attachments hereto as Tract 2E; and,
WHEREAS, said property has been approved by the Missouri Division of State Parks and U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service and determined that 2E, the proposed replacement, is acceptable and said exchange of land will necessitate an amendment to the Little Blue Trace agreement with the Division of State Parks; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute all necessary deeds and amendments to accomplish this exchange.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
