Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 6.2 acre tract of land generally located 500 ± feet east of Smart Road on the south side of Timberlake Trail and specifically described as all that part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 47, Range 31, in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: 

 

COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of said Section 25, (found 2½ " aluminum monument); thence South 87̊28'06" East, along the North line of said Section 25, a distance of 509.58 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, (found ½ " iron bar with cap #2445); thence South 87̊28'13" East, a distance of 63.63 feet; thence South 87̊28'29" East, a distance of 382.24 feet; thence South 41̊28'50" East, a distance of 277.33 feet; thence South 01̊22'08" East, a distance of 264.92 feet; thence North 87̊29'05" West, a distance of 624.92 feet; thence North 01̊22'21" West, a distance of 464.97 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.  Containing 272,013 square feet more or less.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Timothy and Cynthia Prudden (RZ-2006-419), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on December 21, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
