AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE # 3548, September 27, 2004

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description: A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located less than a quarter of a mile south of Pink Hill Road on the west side of Old Pink Hill Road legally described beginning 762.24 feet south of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of then south 345.76 feet thence west 1259.58 feet thence north 345.76 feet thence east to the point of beginning lying in Section 19, Township 49, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of William Carr (RZ-2004-351), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 16, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
