Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2861, dated October 13, 1998, the Legislature approved a Cooperative Agreement with Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), for the administration of the Domestic Preparedness Equipment Support Program Grant; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 13229, dated May 22, 2000, the Legislature did authorize an extension of this Agreement through September 30, 2000, at no additional cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, MARC now desires to amend said Agreement by extending its date through February 28, 2001, again at no additional cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3020, dated May 22, 2000, the Legislature approved a second Cooperative Agreement with MARC for the administration of a similar grant; and,
WHEREAS, MARC desires to amend this second Agreement by extending its date through June 30, 2001, at no additional cost to the county; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Addenda, copies of which are attached and incorporated herein by reference, with the Mid-America Regional Council.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
