WHEREAS, the County has received proceeds in the amount of $23,575.00 from the auction of sixteen surplus patrol vehicles used by the Sheriff's Office; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the funds in the proper spending account so that the funds may be used to equip fifteen (15) new Sheriff's Office patrol vehicles that will be purchased later this year; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the Special Road & Bridge Fund be and hereby is made:
