WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited informal quotations for the furnishing of urinalysis kits for use by the Deferred Prosecution Department of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and,
WHEREAS, he has received quotations as follows:

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to American Bio Medica Corporation of Kinderhook, NY, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has pledged to report to the Legislature at the end of ninety days on the success of this program; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
