BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
A 6ñ acre tract of land generally located at the northwest corner of Myers Road and Atherton Sibley Road and more specifically described as: a tract of land in the northwest quarter of Section 35, Township 51, Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri, commencing at the SW corner of said NW 1/4, then south 87 10'16" East along the south line of the said 1/4 section, 1186.51 feet; then North 3 22'52" east, 30 feet to a point on the north line of Myers Road for a true point of beginning; then continuing North 3 22'52" East, 618 feet; then South 87 10'16" East, 424 feet to a point on the west line of Atherton Sibley Road; then South 3 22'52" West along the said west line, 618 feet to a point on the north line of Myers Road; then North 87 10'16" West along the said north line, 424 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Iva Mae Hughes (RZ-97-059), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on March 20, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
