WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge Project, No. 2075-3, Tract No. 35 and 43, to acquire rights of way over, and to cause certain damage to, t e property of Robert and Jadean Cushman Adams and Missouri Gas Energy, in the amounts of $45,000.00 and $870.00, respectively, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said rights of way, and to settle the claims for damages and have executed these conveyances in favor of the County, in consideration of the total payment of $45,870.00; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:

and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to issue two separate checks, one payable to Robert and Jadean Cushman Adams in the amount of $45,000.00, and the other payable to Missouri Gas Energy in the amount of $870.00, and deliver the checks to the Department of Public Works, Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.
Attorney Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
