Body
WHEREAS, due to COMBAT’s commitment in fostering a strong and safe Jackson County community, the Prosecutor’s Office is requesting funding for a new position titled Community Organizer and Social Media Content Specialist; and,
WHEREAS, this role will plan public events, build and maintain relationships with community partners, and promote COMBAT initiatives through both digital and in-person engagement; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the required salary and benefit funds in the appropriate spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2025 Anti-Crime Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
