Body
WHEREAS, the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Affiliated Trusts has received a five-year grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in the amount of $1,564,555.00, for the Foundation's Project NeighborH.O.O.D. program; and,
WHEREAS, the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Affiliated Trusts has requested County Anti-Drug Sales Tax matching funds in the amount of $111,249.00 to continue the program in 1997; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has reviewed this request and recommends the exependiture of these funds; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached agreement with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Affiliated Trusts; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on this Agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
