WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200464 for the purchase of three (3) snow plows, two (2) material spreaders, and one (1) spot sprayer for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only bids thereon, bids from the following;

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to American Equipment Co. of Kansas City, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to American Equipment Co. of Kansas City, KS, in the amount of $33,171.00, for the purchase of three (3) snow plows, two (2) material spreaders, and one (1) spot sprayer as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement thereby made.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
