IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI

A RESOLUTION awarding a contract on Request for Proposals No. 8-04 for a license to provide concessions service at the Adair Park softball complex for an initial term of eight months with an option to extend for an additional twelve month period to Ron and Karen Bridges of Independence, MO, for a fee payable to the County during each scheduled season at the rate of $1,810.00 per month.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposals No. 8-04 for the award of a license to provide concessions service at the Adair Park softball complex; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two proposals thereon the following:
BIDDER MONTHLY FEE
Ron and Karen Bridges $1,810.00
Independence, MO
J. E. Gross Concessions $1, 900.00
Blue Springs, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature has determined that the proposal of Ron and Karen Bridges of Independence, MO, while not the highest proposal, is the highest and best proposal; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a license to provide concessions services at the Adair Park softball complex is awarded to Ron and Karen Bridges of Independence, MO, for a monthly fee payable to the County during the scheduled season in the amount of $1,810.00 for an initial eight month period with an option to extend for an additional twelve months ; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
