Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 20 ± acres are approximately ¼ ± of a mile south of Missouri Route FF (Truman Road) on the east side of Ketterman Road and specifically described as all that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 49 North, Range 29 West, all in Jackson County, Missouri and being more fully described as follows:  Beginning at the Northeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 49, Range 29 West, all in Jackson County, Missouri, said point being North 85 degrees 51 minutes 06 seconds West, (this bearing and all following bearings being State Plane Grid North Bearing and established using R.T.K.  G.P.S. equipment, and referenced to Kansas City Metro Control Station JA-61), 1329.34 feet from the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17; thence along the East line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17, South 01 degrees 47 minutes 07 seconds West, 660.19 feet; thence North 85 degrees 53 minutes 25 seconds West, 1302.42 feet to a point on the West Right of Way line of Ketterman Road, a County Road; thence along said Right of Way line North 00 degrees 02 minutes 56 seconds East, 298.46 feet; thence continuing along said Right of Way North 02 degrees 27 minutes 44 seconds West, 238.00 feet to a point of intersection with the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17; thence continuing along said Right of Way line and along the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17, North 01 degrees 41 minutes 46 seconds East, 126.50 feet to a point of intersection with the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17; thence along said North line South 85 degrees 51 minutes 06 seconds East, 1329.34 feet to the Point of Beginning, less and except that part in Road.

 

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Jon Zuspann (RZ-2005-382), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on November 17, 2005, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
