IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette) a certain 7.42 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2704, August 4, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: The 7.42 ñ acres is generally located less than « mile south of Truman Road on the west side of Fields Road and described as follows: A parcel of land in the South one half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 49N, Range 30W, Jackson County, Missouri described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Northeast Quarter, thence N 01 degrees 07 minutes 30 seconds E along the east line of said quarter section, a distance of 361.85 feet to the northeast corner of SMITH S LAKE VIEW, a subdivision of Record, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING, thence continuing 07 minutes 30 seconds along said east line, a distance of 253.05 feet; thence S 81 degrees 15 minutes 49 seconds W, a distance of 226.77 fee; thence N 81 degrees 53 minutes 55 seconds W, a distance of 200.70 feet; thence N 88 degrees 48 minutes 07 seconds W, a distance of 324.20 feet; thence S 01 degrees 11 minutes 38 seconds W, a distance of 599.28 feet to a point on the south line of said Northeast Quarter; thence S 88 degrees 45 minutes 14 seconds E along said south line, a distance of 361.59 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 1 of SMITH S LAKE VIEW; thence N 23 degrees 05 minutes 28 seconds E (plat = N 23 degrees 04 minutes 57 seconds E) along the easterly line of said Lot 1, a distance of 244.12 feet; thence N 49 degrees 50 minutes 56 seconds E (plat = N 49 degrees 50 minutes 25 seconds E) along said easterly line, a distance of 239.77 feet; thence S 77 degrees 14 minutes 17 seconds E (plat + S 77 degrees 14 minutes 48 seconds E), a distance of 116.83 feet to a point on the east line of said Northeast Quarter; thence S 01 degrees 07 minutes 30 seconds W (plat = S 01 degrees 07 minutes 05 seconds W) along said east line, a distance of 361.85 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 7.432 acres. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ron Smith (RZ-97-072), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 17, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
