Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15816, dated March 13, 2006, the Legislature did authorize an intergovernmental cooperative agreement with the City of Blue Springs and the Blue Springs School R-IV District, relating to improvements to the North-South Liggett Road project; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to this Agreement, the City of Blue Springs and the Blue Springs School R-IV District agreed to pay to the County the sum of $221,672.50 each, to be used to cover two-thirds of the construction costs for this project; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these funds, which have been received, in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Special Road and Bridge Fund:
