AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 3 + acre tract.

 

Intro

 

ORDINANCE 2989, February 7, 2000

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a 3 ± acre tract of land, more specifically described as follows:

 

Description: A 3 ± acre tract of land generally located ½ mile south of Pink Hill Road on the east side of Howell Road and more specifically described:

 

ALL THAT PART OF THE NE 1/4, AND PART OF THE SE 1/4, SECTION 2 4-T.49-R.30, JACKSON COUNTY MISSOURI BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SW CORNER OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE NE 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 24-T.49-R.30, SAID CORNER BEING N 88°-27'-47"W, ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID NE 1/4, 1337.51 FEET FROM THE SE CORNER OF SAID NE 1/4; THENCE N 01°-28'52" E, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID SE 1/4, NE 1/4, 120.00 FEET; THENCE S 88°-27'-47" E, PARALLEL WITH SAID SOUTH LINE, 291.37 FEET; THENCE S 02°-00-01" W, 466.89 FEET; THENCE N 88°-27"47" W, PARALLEL WITH SAID SOUTH LINE, 287.91 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF THE NE 1/4 OF THE SE 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 24-T.49-R.30; THENCE N 01°-36'-33" E, ALONG SAID WEST LINE, 346.88 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Terry Llewellyn (RZ-2000-176), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on January 20, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
