Body
WHEREAS, William Andrew Ford, a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 24, has successfully completed all requirements to attain scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
WHEREAS, Andrew, a scout for 5 ½ years, acted as den chief for Cub Scouts Pack 24, and earned 31 merit badges; and,
WHEREAS, his Eagle Scout project was to work with the Nature Conservatory of Missouri to construct and install a large property sign for the Dunn Ranch Prairie in Eagleville, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, Andrew, whose name in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say is "Warrior Little Strutting Longbeard," attended the Packard High Adventure Camp in Colorado; and,
WHEREAS, Andrew 's proud parents are Bill and Susan Ford of Kansas City, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, Andrew will be recognized at his Eagle Court of Honor to be held at the Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 16, 2002, at 2:30 pm; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates William Andrew Ford upon successfully completing all requirements to attain scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
