WHEREAS, the United States Executive Office of the President's Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Investigative Support Center has allocated an aggregate total of $73,015.00 for fiscal year 2006 for an intelligence analyst to be retained on contract by the Jackson County Drug Task Force; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund to cover a grant received from the United States Executive Office of the President's Midwest HIDTA Investigative Support Center to allow the Jackson County Drug Task Force to contract with an intelligence analyst:
