Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 128-95 for the furnishing of a marina platform and bridge for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

Elf Machine Works, Inc. $63,920.00
Independence, MO
Ozark Barg & Dock $86,337.00
Gravois Mills, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Galva Foam Marine Industries, Inc., for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within the 1995 Park Enterprise Fund is necessary to accomplish this award; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends such transfer; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 1995 Park Enterprise Fund:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
