AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 5± acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description: The 5 ± acres are approximately ½ mile north of Burgess Road on the west side of Buckner Tarsney Road and specifically described:

 

This is a Resurvey of a portion of Tract A, as shown on the Certificate of Survey filed December 13, 1994, as Document No. I-1317265, in Book T8 at Page 25 , which is all that part of the East 60 Acres of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 50, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows:

Commencing at the East Quarter Corner of said Section 34; Thence North 02̊57'20" East, along the East line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 34, a distance of 425.24 feet to the Point of Beginning; Thence North 87̊31'51" West, along a line running parallel with the South line of said Northeast Quarter, a distance of 897.32 feet; Thence North 02̊38'43" East, a distance of 250.00 feet to a point on the North line of said Tract A; Thence South 87̊31'52" East, along said North line, a distance of 898.67 feet to a point on the East line of said Northeast Quarter; Thence south 02̊57'20" West, along said East line, a distance of 250.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.  Containing 5.08 Acres, more or less.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Rita Moore (RZ-2003-324), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend this application in a public hearing on November 20, 2003, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
