IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 16 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "R&R Estates," creating a four-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2921, June 14, 1999 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: DESCRIPTION: All that part of the East half of the Northeast quarter and the East half of the Southeast quarter of Section 9, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 9, Township 48, Range 30; thence South 00 degrees 15 minutes 12 seconds West along the East line of said Section 9 a distance of 2307.70 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing South 00 degrees 15 minutes 12 seconds West along the East line of said Section 9 a distance of 329.97 feet to the Northeast corner of the Southeast quarter of said Section 9; thence North 89 degrees 48 minutes 07 seconds West along the North line of the Southeast quarter of said Section 9 a distance of 462.77 feet; thence South 00 degrees 14 minutes 29 seconds West along the East line of said Section 9 a distance of 401.45 feet; thence North 89 degrees 48 minutes 07 seconds West a distance of 857.78 feet to the West line of the East half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 9; thence North 00 degrees 18 minutes 43 seconds East along to the West line of the East half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 9 a distance of 401.45 feet to the Northwest corner of the East half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 9 thence North 00 degrees 13 minutes 46 seconds East along the West line of the East half of the Northeast quarter of said Section 9 a distance of 329.97 feet; thence South 89 degrees 48 minutes 07 seconds East a distance of 1320.19 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. The preliminary plat "R&R Estates," creating a four-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Stanford Green (RZ-99-144), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 20, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
