IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION rescinding Resolution 11457, dated October 7, 1996, and awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 101-96 for the furnishing of ready mix concrete for use county-wide to APAC of Harrisonville, MO, to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated amount of $28,000.00. Intro RESOLUTION 11788, June 9, 1997 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, by Resolution 11457, dated October 7, 1996, the County approved a term and supply contract for ready mix concrete in the amount of $28,000.00 to 7 Materials Corporation of Kansas City, MO, to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period; and, WHEREAS, due to nonperformance of 7 Materials Corporation of Kansas City, MO, the Purchasing Director recommends that its contract be rescinded and awarded to the next lower bidder, APAC of Harrisonville, MO; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Resolution 11457, dated October 7, 1996, be and hereby is rescinded as set out above; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
