WHEREAS, because of unanticipated utility costs incurred in the County's courthouse, the County's 2014 budget does not contain sufficient appropriated funds to meet the County's obligation for utility overages; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the needed funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2014 General Fund be and hereby is made:
