Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 14.1 ± acres are generally located approximately ½ ± mile south of Missouri Route FF (Truman Road) on the east side of Ketterman Road and specifically described as all that part of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 17, Township 49, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows:  commencing at the southwest corner of said northeast quarter of Section 17; thence N 01̊56'33" E, along the west line of said northeast quarter of Section 17, 314.33 feet; thence S 85̊38'38" E, 60.90 feet, to a point on the east right of way line of Ketterman Road, said point is also the true point of beginning; thence N 04̊51'14" E, along said right of way, 280.99 feet; thence N 00̊18'35" E, along said right of way, 690.90 feet; thence S 85̊38'38" E, 1254.96 feet, to a point on the east line of said southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 17; thence S 02̊01'54" W, along said east line, 660.18 feet, to the southeast corner of said southwest quarter; thence N 85̊40'57" W, along the south line of said southwest quarter, 588.13 feet; thence N 04̊21'22" E, 313.63 feet; thence N 85̊38'38" W, 691.42 feet, to the true point of beginning aka 3005 S. Ketterman Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Bill Banks (RZ-2006-405), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on July 20, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
