Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15506, dated June 6, 2005, the County did award a contract on the 2005 Pavement Maintenance Phase 2 (Chip Sealing) Project, No. 3038, to Vance Brothers, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, in an amount not to exceed $656,866.20; and,
WHEREAS, the project is now complete and has been accepted by the Director of Public Works, such that final payment is now due and owing; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make final payment in the amount of $100.00 on the contract with Vance Brothers, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, for the 2005 Pavement Maintenance Phase 2 (Chip Sealing) Project, No. 3038.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
