Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 21316, dated June 26, 2023, the County Legislature awarded a contract for the furnishing of on-call geotechnical testing services to Olsson Associates of Olathe, KS, under the terms and conditions of RFQ 23-021; and,
WHEREAS, a busy pedestrian bridge along the Little Blue Trace Trail was catastrophically damaged by a severe storm in May 2024; and,
WHEREAS, the bridge was deemed unsafe for use and must be replaced; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to cover the cost of these additional services using the existing term and supply contract authorized by Resolution No. 21316; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made:
