BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District, "LB" (Local Business) District,  and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A and District LB to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

 

The 5 ± acres are over ¼ ± mile north of Colbern Road on the west side of Missouri Route F (Outer Belt Road) and specifically described as a tract of land in the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 29, Township 48, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:  commencing at the northeast corner of said southeast quarter of Section 29; thence N 88̊31'34" W, along the north line of said southeast quarter of Section 29, a distance of 187.04 feet, to a point on the west right of way line of south Outer Belt Road, 40.00 feet right of centerline station 242+00.00; thence in a southerly direction along a non-tangent curve to the left with an initial tangent bearing of S 10̊09'27" W, with a radius of 995.00 feet and an arc length of 60.45 feet, course follows the west right of way line, to the true point of beginning; thence continuing along previous curve an arc length of 151.08, 40.00 feet right of centerline station 244+09.00; thence S 02̊01'24" E, continuing along said west right of way, a distance of 268.37 feet, 40.00 feet right of centerline station 246+80.60; thence southerly along a tangent curve to the right with a radius of 915.00 feet and an arc length of 209.57 feet, course follows the west right of way line; thence N 88̊31'34" W, along the north right of way line of old county road, a distance of 344.00 feet; thence N 01̊28'26" E, a distance of 627.60 feet, to a point 60.00 feet south of the north line of said southeast quarter of section 29; thence S 88̊31'34" E, along a line that is parallel with the north line of said southeast quarter of Section 29, a distance of 341.07 feet, returning to the true point of beginning aka 9510 S. Outer Belt Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John W. Johnson requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on May 17, 2007, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
