AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 3 ± acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

Description: A 3 ± acre tract of land generally south of Nebgen Road on the west side of Corn Road and specifically described as:

 

A Tract of land in Jackson County, Missouri situated in the SW 1/4 of Section 14, Township 48, Range 30 being more particularly described as:

 

Commencing at the Northeast Corner of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 14; thence S 00°01'59"E measured (S00°13'18" deed) along the East line of said Southwest 1/4, a distance of 647.75 feet measured (647.69 feet deed); thence N89°59'52"W measured (S90°00'00"W deed), 43.20 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE West Right of Way of CORN ROAD; thence continuing N89°59'52"W measured (S90°00'00"W deed), 340.52 feet; thence N00°13'41"E, 383.76 feet; thence N90°00'00" E, 340.52 feet to said West Right of Way of Corn Road; thence S00°13'41"W along said West Right of Way, a distance of 383.77 feet Returning to the Point of Beginning.  Containing 3.00 Acres Subject to Road Right of Ways and Easements (Public and Private) as may now be located.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Eric and Deanna Cross (RZ-2002-263), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 16, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
