AN ORDINANCE reappropriating $40,000.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2004 General Fund for an agreement with Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City and reappropriating $54,266.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund to cover the cost of an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with the City of Kansas City, MO, for the Domestic Violence Victim Assistance Program, due to a funding lapse after the last fiscal year.

Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15322, dated December 6, 2004, the County Legislature did authorize an Agreement with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City (formerly Boys & Girls Club of Eastern Jackson County) in the amount of $40,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15325, dated December 9, 2004, the County Legislature did authorize an Addendum to Cooperative Agreement with the City of Kansas City for the Domestic Violence Victim Assistance Program in the amount of $54,266.00; and,
WHEREAS, due to an error in the processing of these agreements for execution, they were not received by the Finance Department in a timely manner and funding for these agreements lapsed; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following reappropriations be made:
