Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 11489, dated November 4, 1996, enter into a contract with Gervy Construction of Independence, MO, in the amount of $47,970.00, for the Buckner-Tarsney Road at Blue Branch Project, No. 2336; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1 (Final), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust the contract plan quantities to as-built quantities, and to construct abutments and set a new bike/pedestrian bridge in the Little Blue Trace Park, and said change order will result in an increase not to exceed $2,821.91; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 (Final) to the aforesaid contract is approved and the County Executive is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
