IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI

A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing to issue a check in the amount of $5,000.00 to Ingram's Magazine, to co-sponsor the Jackson County Economic Development Assembly which will convene business and government leaders from around the County in furtherance of the Jackson County economic development initiative.

Body
WHEREAS, Ingram's Magazine has requested that the County co-sponsor the Jackson County Economic Development Assembly, at a cost to the County of $5,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, sponsorship benefits include County recognition in the Destination Jackson County feature section in the Ingram's September edition as well as recognition in the Jackson County Economic Development report; and,
WHEREAS, said sponsorship is in the best interest of the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Jackson County, Missouri; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature expresses its full support of the Jackson County Economic Development Assembly and hereby authorizes the Director of Finance and Purchasing to issue a check to Ingram's Magazine, in the amount of $5,000.00 as a co-sponsor of this event.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
