Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 123-98 for the printing and mailing of business personal and real estate change notices for use by the Assessment Department; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid originally received in compliance with the bid's specifications was from Sterling Companies of Earth City, MO, in the amount of $19,851.00; and,
WHEREAS, Brian Polmiller and Associates of Lenexa, KS, later brought its bid in the amount of $32,150.00 into compliance; and,
WHEREAS, the Assessment Director has recommended that award be made to Brian Polmiller and Associates as it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Assessment Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
