WHEREAS, by Resolution 15805, dated February 27, 2006, the County did award a twelve-month contract for the furnishing of concessions for use by the Parks and Recreation Department at Adair Park to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, under the terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No. 1-06, as the best overall bid; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing now recommends a twelve-month extension to the contract with J. E. Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, commencing March 23, 2007, and terminating March 22, 2008, under the terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No. 1-06; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the extension be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the extension.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
