Body
WHEREAS, Theodore "Ted" Caster, a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 24, has successfully completed all requirements to attain scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
WHEREAS, Ted has been a scout for seven years, served as patrol leader of Troop 24, and has earned 33 merit badges; and,
WHEREAS, his Eagle Scout project was to recruit scouts and neighborhood leaders to build a website for the Coleman Highlands Neighborhood Association; and,
WHEREAS, he attended Packard High Adventure Camp in Colorado, where he rafted down the Colorado River and climbed 14,269-ft. Mt. Antero; and,
WHEREAS, he received the Sam Reeves Boy Scout honor and holds the religious emblems Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII; and,
WHEREAS, Ted's proud parents are William F. Caster and Deborah A. Dibal of Kansas City, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, Ted will be recognized at his Eagle Court of Honor to be held at the Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 16, 2002, at 2:30 p.m.; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Theodore Matthias Caster upon successfully completing all requirements to attain scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
