Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 12655, dated March 8, 1999, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute an Agreement with Bridging the Gap, Inc., for the continuation of the Jackson County Rotating Recycling Center Project, at a cost to the County not to exceed $39,082; and,
WHEREAS, Bridging the Gap has expanded the services available under this Agreement in scope and location, and has incurred additional costs in doing so; and,
WHEREAS, in view of these increased services, it is appropriate that the compensation due Bridging the Gap under the Agreement be increased in the amount of $10,701; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Addendum to the Agreement provides a satisfactory mechanism by which to implement this understanding of the parties; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Addendum to the Agreement with Bridging the Gap, Inc; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the Agreement and the Addendum thereto...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
