IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI

A RESOLUTION awarding a twenty-four-month term and supply contract, with one (1) twelve-month option to extend, for the furnishing of trailer maintenance and repair services for use by various County departments to Croft Trailer Supply of Kansas City, MO under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 26-027.

RESOLUTION NO. 22328, June 29, 2026

 

INTRODUCED BY Donna Peyton, County Legislator

 

 

Body

 WHEREAS, various County departments have a need for trailer maintenance and repair services; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids for such services by Invitation to Bid No. 26-027; and,

 

WHEREAS, 5,219 notifications were distributed through Bonfire, with two (2) responses received and evaluated from the following:

VENDOR

 

Croft Trailer Supply

Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

 

General Fleet Services

Portland, OR

 

 

and,

 

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award of a contract for the furnishing of trailer maintenance and repair services for use by various County departments to Croft Trailer Supply of Kansas City, MO, as the lowest and best bid received; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Interim Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award with an estimated annual usage of $31,500.00; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.

This award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriation, an estimated expenditure of $31,500.00.
