IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION acknowledging the dedication of Fire Station 3 on April 20, 1997, to the citizens and patrons of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District and to the men and women who are dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the District's patrons. Intro RESOLUTION # 11711, April 14, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dixie M. Flynn, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District to continue to improve and increase the protection and capabilities of the District; and, WHEREAS, it is also the desire of the Board of Directors of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District to position the District for long-term future growth along with the communities the District serves; and, WHEREAS, the patrons of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District desire and deserve the highest quality fire protection and emergency medical services; and, WHEREAS, the voters of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District passed and approved the sale of bonds to finance the construction and relocation of Fire Station 3 to improve and increase the protection and capabilities of the District; and, WHEREAS, because of the increased protection and capabilities the District has been awarded a fire protection classification of 3 by the Insurance Services Organization; and, WHEREAS, the officers, firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, and support staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality service to the citizens and patrons of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District and deserve the highest of praise for their service; and, WHEREAS, Central Jackson County Fire Protection District provides professional inspection services to Jackson County, for which the County is appreciative; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature acknowledges the dedication of Fire Station 3 on April 20, 1997, to the citizens and patrons of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District and to the men and women who are dedicated to the protection of lives and property of the District's patrons. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
