Body
WHEREAS, § 1040.7 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, dispenses with the requirement of competitive bidding for the purchase of proprietary articles, i.e. goods manufactured under an exclusive individual right to make and sell them, which are to be offered for resale at certain retail outlets operated by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to § 1040.7, the Purchasing Director recommends the issuance of a purchase order to Titleist and Footjoy Worldwide of Fairhaven, MA, in the amount of $36,822.38, Gear for Sport of Lenexa, KS, in the amount of $7,044.00, Charles Sackman Golf of Laureldale, PA, in the amount of $4,187.45, and Cutter and Buck of Seattle, WA, in the amount of $2,031.50, for the furnishing of proprietary golf apparel to be offered for resale by the Parks and Recreation Department at the Longview Lake Golf Course ProShop, in the total amount of $50,085.33; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to issue purchase orders in the respective amounts to Titleist and Footjoy Worldwide of Fairhaven, MA, Gear for Sport of Lenexa, KS, Charles Sackman Golf of Laureldale, PA, and Cutter and Buck of Seattle, WA; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the contracts thereby made...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
