AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10.5 + acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3069, October 9, 2000

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 10.5 ± acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of Perrin Road and Blue Mills Road and more specifically described:

                     

All that part of the East half of the Southwest quarter of Section 12, Township 50, Range 31, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 12; thence South 88 degrees 17 minutes 26 seconds East along the South line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 12 a distance of 1325.04 feet to the Southwest corner of the East half of the Southwest quarter of said Section 12; thence North 02 degrees 15 minutes 11 seconds East along the West line of said East half a distance of 475.75 feet to the intersection of the North right-of-way of Blue Mills Road as now established and the West line of said East half, said point also being the Point of Beginning; thence continuing North 02 degrees 15 minutes 11 seconds East along the West line of said East half a distance of 1028.77 feet to the Southwest corner of PERRIN ACRES, LOT 6, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence South 88 degrees 13 minutes 18 seconds East (Plat = South 88 degrees 13 minutes 30 seconds East) a distance of 484.02 feet (Plat = 484.00') to the Southeast corner of said PERRIN ACRES, LOT 6;  thence South 02 degrees 15 minutes 11 seconds West a distance of 853.45 feet to the North right-of-way of Blue Mills Road as now established; thence South 71 degrees 55 minutes 19 seconds West along said North right-of-way line a distance of 516.16 feet to the point of beginning.  Containing 10.457 acres. Except that part is Roads.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Price Perrin (RZ-2000-208), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 21, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
