WHEREAS, by Resolution 15512, the County Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Carpenters' District Council of Kansas City & Vicinity regarding the terms and conditions of employment of members of its bargaining unit within the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecutor's office is in need of parking for the employees who are members of the Carpenters' District Council of Kansas City; and,
WHEREAS, an Agreement with Standard Parking will provide the Prosecutor's office with forty-one non-reserved monthly automobile parking access cards and parking spaces to employees with access to the George E. Wolfe Garage located at 11th Street and Oak Street, Kansas City, MO with a one-time total cost deposit of $615.00 for parking cards and a monthly total cost of $2,665.00; and,
WHEREAS, the term of this Agreement is September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorize to execute the attached Agreement with Standard Parking, at a cost to the County not to exceed $32,595.00.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
