IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute contracts with Research Mental Health Care Services, Swope Parkway Health Services, Comprehensive Mental Health Care Services, and Central Kansas City Mental Health Services for the purpose of planning, developing, and implementing, including the training of staff, the Criminal Justice Treatment Network Program, at a cost to the County not to exceed $106,664.00. Intro RESOLUTION #11210, March 11, 1996 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the voters of the County approved imposition of a sales tax to provide funding for the fight against illegal drugs in our community; and, WHEREAS, the proceeds and interest generated from this tax are deposited in a special Jackson County Anti-Drug Sales Tax Trust Fund that is segregated and not commingled with the general fund or any other special funds of the County; and, WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended a contract out of anti-drug sales tax funds with Research Mental Health Care Services, Swope Parkway Health Services, Comprehensive Mental Health Care Services, and Central Kansas City Mental Health Services, for the purpose of planning, developing, and implementing, including the training of staff, the Criminal Justice Treatment Network Program; and, WHEREAS, the attached contracts set forth the agreement and understanding of the parties; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached contracts with Research Mental Health Care Services, Swope Parkway Health Services, Comprehensive Mental Health Care Services, and Central Kansas City Mental Health Services; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
