IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 19 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Hill View Place-Phase II," creating a six-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2879, December 15, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estate) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: A 19 ñ acre tract of land generally located 1/10 of a mile north of Duncan Road on the west side of Tyer Road and more specifically described as: A parcel of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 49, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast Corner of said quarter section, thence South 00 58'01" West along the east line of said quarter section a distance of 840.19 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing South 00 58'01" West along the east line of said quarter section a distance of 1247.17 feet to a point on the north line of DALTON GULCH, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence departing said east line North 87 47'04" West along the north line of DALTON GULCH a distance of 659.50 feet to a point on the east line of LORANE ACRES, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 00 58'02" East along said east line a distance of 229.99 feet t a point on the north line of LORANE ACRES, thence along said north line North 87 58 minutes 32 seconds West a distance of 30.48 feet; thence departing said north line North 00 58 minutes 01 seconds East a distance of 1018.81 feet; thence South 87 39'16" East a distance of 659.52 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 19.60 acres more or less except that portion within streets and roads. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Hill View Place - Phase II," creating a six-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of C. Phil Hodges, Inc. (RZ-98-131), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on November 19, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
