Title
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $400,000.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Leasehold Debt Fund and $6,100,000.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Public Building Corporation Fund, to cover the principal amount of the Series 1997 Public Building Corporation Leasehold Revenue Bonds and the payment of the 1997 debt service thereon.

Body
WHEREAS, the sale of the Series 1997 Leasehold Revenue Bonds issued by the Public Building Corporation resulted in proceeds totaling $6,100,000.00 for use by the Facilities Management Department in the courthouse renovation capital improvement project; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Public Building Corporation Fund is necessary to make these funds available for the project; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Leasehold Debt Fund is also necessary to cover the debt service payment due on these bonds in 1997; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Leasehold Debt Fund:
